Considered one of the ‘personal’ planets in astrology, Venus is connected to values, relationships, harmony, balance, pleasure, art and beauty. The late poet and philosopher John O’Donohue describes beauty as “the priestess of individuation.” In this webinar Shawn will present via PowerPoint a thorough look at the archetypal meaning of Venus and her role in different placements in an astrological chart. Featured will be a number of charts of famous Venusians to help illustrate the connection between Venus and the “art” of being yourself.

This is still one of my favorite topics to talk about, and I encourage anyone interested to attend the live webinar.  Saturn is in Scorpio for another two-and-a-half years, so it’s still just getting started.  My article “Dark Eyes and Dark Nights” gives a sample of Saturn in Scorpio.  The themes of this transit have been showing up quite frequently in the news media as of late, and no doubt in peoples’ personal lives as well.  This webinar is an extremely good way to learn to recognize what is going on.  I will present the archetypal forces through mythology, popular culture, a fairy tale, and a long historical stretch of previous Saturn-in-Scorpio transits.
